AFL.com.au reporter Callum Twomey is reporting that the Brisbane Lions are interested in boosting their ruck stocks, with Collingwood big man Jarrod Witts in their sights.

Witts has managed just the two games this season as big American Mason Cox has leaped in front of him in the pecking order down at the Holden Centre.

Stefan Martin has had to shoulder most of the ruck work this season with little assistance from veteran Trent West throughout the year.

The 211cm ruck has played 40 games at Collingwood in five seasons, and is out of contract at the end of this season after signing a three year deal back in 2013.
